CZEDER 2009

7th Czech Days for European Research took place the 26th October 2009 in Prague. The conference was organized by Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports in collaboration with Technology Centre ASCR.

The event was divided in three thematic parts.

The first block dealt with the impact evaluation of Czech EU Presidency Conferences concerning the European RTD policy, in particular EUFORDIA 2009, RIC 2009, Role of fundamental research in the process of structuring ERA, FET09, Researchers in Europe without barriers, and EuroNanoForum 2009.

Second part of conference treated the middle-term evaluation of FP7 and its consequences for the future FP's orientation. Two presentations were held on this topic: The FP Evaluation - results and challenges , Report about the Czech participation in FP7

The last part of the conference concerned the strategy for FP8 preparation which was dealt in two presenations Great Challenges: identifications and responses, Czech Republic and its priorities for FP8
