The first Czech-Swiss Science and Technology Days

The seminar will focus on methods and cooperation arrangements to increase the efficiency of innovation, technology transfer from R&D to the industrial sector and commercialization of R&D results. The participants will be invited to visit selected Swiss R&D institutions, universities, and high-tech companies and to meet Swiss potential partners.

The main objective of the first annual CSSTD seminar is to explore and to advance further possibilities of broader direct cooperation in the field of R&D, and to enhance and further develop contacts and cooperation between respective organizations, companies and institutions in both countries with the goal of achieving direct cooperation between such institutions, universities, companies, etc.

Several specific R&D areas will be the subjects of discussions during the seminar, namely:

• Czech results of research and applications in four priority fields: Biotechnology, Nanotechnology, New materials, Technical Sciences
• Swiss results of research and applications in four priority fields: Biotechnology, Nanotechnology, New materials, Technical Sciences
• Opportunities for Czech – Swiss cooperation
• Expects of Switzerland from the Czech republic and vice versa
