Conference The politics of knowing : research, institutions and gender in the making will take place 27th and 28th November in Prague at the occasion of closing of the research project Knowledge, Institutions and Gender: an East-West Comparative Study (KNOWING, funded under the Sixth Research Framework Programme).

This conference will showcase the results of the KNOWING project, including the recommendations. The KNOWING conference will address the issue of gender in science from an academic perspective, based on nuanced analyses which are theoretically gender informed.
